The National Association for Leisure, Health and Fitness in Ireland has rated us 'Outstanding' every year since 2010 and we are proud to be one of the finest sports and leisure facilities in the Kilkenny area. We place a great deal of importance on providing the highest standards of instruction and customer service to our many members and customers. We are currently recruiting in preparation for reopening and looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.

The positions available are:
a) Fitness Instructor (Full time 39 hours a week working shift hours between 7am and 10pm)
b) Lifeguard and Swim Teachers (Full time 39 hours a week working shift hours between 7am and 10pm and Part time minimum 8 hours per week)

General requirements:
• Minimum age of 18
• The flexibility to be available for work both early and late hours, mid-week and at weekends (full flexibility is required)
• The appropriate qualification/experience as indicated below

Fitness Instructor
Candidates should possess a passion for helping people achieve their goals and a dedication to personal and professional high standards;  Candidates must be able to provide evidence of appropriate qualification (NCEF or equivalent) and demonstrate a history of teaching a range of popular, contemporary, and successful fitness classes;

Required: Spin/Indoor Cycling qualification
Advantageous: BACPR qualified; TRX/Kettlebells/Les Mills qualified; REPS registered;

Swim Teacher/Lifeguard
Candidates should possess a passion for swimming and a dedication to personal and professional high standards;  Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with and teach swimmers of all ages to develop their confidence and skills in the water;

Required: National Pool Lifeguard qualification; Swim Teaching qualification;
Advantageous: Swim Lessons Co-ordinator experience;
