A vacancy has arisen for a Duty Manager position here at The Watershed, working 39 hours per week (shift work), including weekends on rotation.
This is a full-time managerial role reporting to the Chief Executive and offers a great challenge and development opportunity for an individual with management experience, who would like to further their career in the sport and leisure industry.
The Role:
Duty Managers at The Watershed are responsible for the achievement of the Watershed's annual business plan financial goals and staff management in the department under their direct responsibility.
The Duty Manager on duty covers the entire operation of the facility while simultaneously carrying specific responsibility for defined elements of the business.

- health and safety
- facility management
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a busy leisure centre (or similar) with a relevant third level qualification and experience in managing a team of people.
The ability to demonstrate competencies in the following will be advantageous:
- co-ordination of large scale group bookings, events and activities
- management of general maintenance operations
- achievement financial goals and objectives
